This dual profile PCI Express RS-232 Serial card adds an RS-232 (DB9) Serial Port to existing systems using a single PCI Express slot, while relying on a native, single-chip design (Oxford OXPCIe952) for optimal performance and reliability. Compatible with a broad range of operating systems, including Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista, Linux Kernel 2.6.11 and up, and MAC OS 10.4 and above, the PEX1S952 PCI Express Serial Card also features an optional low profile bracket that allows the card to be installed in virtually any computer case.
